Welcome to the Department of Writing Studies.

Purpose Statement

It was established with the purpose of coordinating collaboration in research and writing, focused on learning about analyzing and applying solutions to problems in all the disciplines of the university.

​

Curriculum

Analysis and Research are critical to understanding and finding solutions to problems. The Department of Writing Studies and Research brings student researchers from all disciplines together to think analytically about problems and problem-solving.

BA Writing Studies

The BA program in Writing Studies is an interdisciplinary study, which has a focus on the following:

African studies

Intelligence Studies

Analytical Research

Courses at the Department of Writing Studies are cross-listed with courses in other departments.

 If you are (were) a student of any recognized university in the world, you can obtain another BA degree from the University of Murus Ignis completing a specified number courses over several years, taking only one course semester. â€‹

Undergraduate Plan of Study

The following are our regular courses for the interdisciplinary B.A. program in Writing Studies. However, because of logistical reasons our Global Campus students may substitute English and writing courses for some some of the course, especially for the core courses of the program.
